Description

The Annunciation. Red Chalk on vellum. Inscribed Albani twice on the verso, and with the date 1640 at the top. Inscribed in the centre 'from the Ottley collection'.
An almost identical painting of the same subject is in the Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburgh.
